WORK WITH US
we are looking for a Team Member to join our team to assist in daily operations and provide excellent customer service in our shop, based in Bookham.
You will be working in a busy work environment, serving customers as well as with assisting packaging.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist with the day to day operations (which may include opening and closing)
- Working with professional coffee equipment to serve a range of hot drinks
- Assist in maintaining up to date records of cleaning, food safety and other required information
- Compliance with Health & Safety and hygiene guidelines
- Ensuring the working environment remains clean, tidy and safe
- Ad hoc responsibilities, including but not limited to food preparation, cleaning, stock management, serving customers
Key Skills Required:
- Previous experience working in customer service and as a barista/in a café
- Ability to work well individually, take initiative but also contribute and work effectively within a team
- Confidence and ability to react to situations and use initiative when required
- Strong people and communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills
- Hard working and ability to work under pressure
- Willingness to learn new skills
- General understanding of the products and how the products are made
- Passion and enthusiasm, positive attitude and motivated
- Available to work within opening hours, including weekends
- As we are a continental styled chocolaterie, knowing any European languages would be a bonus
Contract type: Permanent full time, minimum 40 hours a week (including weekend work)
Pay: To be discussed based on experience
