Please read all these terms and conditions You must read these terms and condition to make sure that they contain and covers all information you need to know about your order, the usage of our online shop and website. If you are unsure about anything or need more information please do contact us.
1. Application:
1.1 This website; http://ildikoschocolate.co.uk (the website or online shop) is owned and operated by Ildiko`s Artisan Chocolates Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under number: 01372451368 whose registered office is at 17 High Street, Bookham, Surrey, KT23 4AA, United Kingdom with Email: info@ildikoschocolate.co.uk and phone: 01372451368 (the supplier or us or we).
These terms and conditions will apply to the online order for purchase of the goods placed on our website by you (the Customer or you)
1.2 By placing an order of any goods you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Before placing the order on our online shop you will be asked to agree these Terms and Conditions by clicking on the button marked `I accept`. Without clicking this button you will be not able to finish the transaction and placing your order. You must be eligible to enter into a contract and at least 18 years old in order to purchase on our website.
2. Goods:
2.1 The description of the goods is as set in the product information on our website. Any description and images for illustrative purposes only. Hence all of our products are handmade there may be small discrepancies in the appearance, size, weight, colour of the goods supplied.
2.2 We reserve the right to make changes to the goods which are necessary to comply with any applicable law or safety requirement. We will notify you of these changes.
2.3 Information about ingredients and allergens to be found within the product information section however you should use this information as a guideline. You should always read the physical product label before consuming the product and never rely solely on the information provided on the website. If you are unsure or need more information please contact us.
3. Personal information:
3.1 We retain and use all information strictly as stated in our Privacy Policy.
3.2 We are asking and using any personal information in order to be able to fulfil the purchase transaction.
3.3 All payment details are handled and stored securely on a third party payment gateway (PayPal) therefore non of the provided information are held by us.
3.4 We may contact you by using any of following communication method; email, phone and pre paid post and you expressly agree to this.
3.5 If you signed up and do not wish to receive information and updates about us you can unsubscribe by choosing this option on bottom of the emails or by contacting us in writing.
3.5 We never forward any personal details held by us to a third party.
4. Basis of sale:
4.1 The description of goods in our website does not constitute a contractual offer to sell the goods.
When an order had been submitted on the online shop we can reject it for any reason although we will notify you about this without delay.
4.2 The order process is set out on our website. The system will you to check and amend any errors before submitting the order.
4.3 You will receive an email confirmation of the order which will be formed as a contract for the sale of goods. You must ensure all information provided and listed in the confirmation letter are completed and accurate. You have to inform us immediately about any errors.
We are not responsible for any inaccuracies in the order placed by you.
5. Price and Payment
5.1 The price of the goods and any additional delivery charges is that set out on the website at the time and date of the order.
5.2 The price and charges listed on the website are in Pounds Sterling (GBP) include VAT at the rate applicable at the time of the order.
5.3 We take order and process payment solely trough our website. We do not take and accept payment on email, phone or post. We can not accept cheque or cash payments.
5.4 By the time placing the order the payment details will be taken and processed immediately and stored secured by using a third party payment gateway service (Stripe). Your details including the payment details will be securely encrypted and NOT held by us.
5.5 We accept the following payment methods: VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS, MAESTRO or SOLO (Debit or Credit Cards).
6. Delivery
6.1 We will notify you by email when the order has been dispatched.
6.2 Our delivery area are the following: United Kingdom and Selected countries on Mainland Europe.
6.3 Delivery charges are calculated by the total weights of goods ordered and the delivery destination. All delivery charges will be charged by the time of placing the order and they are clearly displayed in your shopping cart and in the confirmation.
6.4 We are using Royal Mail or courier services for deliveries within UK and Royal Mail Airsure services for deliveries to other European countries. We reserve the right to change the delivery method without prior notice.
6.5 Our delivery lead times: up to five working days for UK destinations and 10 working days for any other destination.
6.6 We offer free delivery for UK deliveries on all orders of £30 or more.
6.7 It is your responsibility to make arrangement to accept goods on delivery. If you fail to take the goods at the delivery location we may charge the reasonable costs of storing and redelivery.
6.8 In the unlikely event that the ordered goods are lost, damaged, delayed we will only cover the cost of replacing the items and its redelivery but we will not be liable for any associated damages or losses.
7. Cancellations
7.1 In case of you change your mind and wish to cancel your order you can do that anytime within 14 calendar days the order was placed. The cancellation must be done in writing.
7.2 If your order has been dispatched before the cancellation was received you will return them to us with all item unopened / unused. You have to make sure to re-pack the goods to prevent them for any damages during the transport. We will not refund the shipping cost of orders dispatched before cancellation received nor the costing returning these.
7.3 We will authorise the refund within 30 days after the returned items received.
8. Returns
8.1 In the unlikely event the received items are unsatisfactory please contact us within 48 hours of receipt.
8.2 We will usually ask you to provide more details about the item, ask you to return the goods or provide photograph of the damaged items.
9.Governing low, jurisdiction and complains
9.1 The contract (including any non – contractual matters) is governed by the law of England and Wales.
9.2 Disputes can be submitted to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
9.3 Our aim is to avoid any dispute and we deal with complaints in the following way: If dispute occurs you should contact us to find a solution. We will try to respond with an appropriate solution within 5 working days.
